Joanne has been a competitive athlete since she was a child. She began playing golf at the age of 11, and was the first girl on her high school team. Joanne has been coordinating golf tournaments for over 15 years. Her management and coordination of golf tournaments has assisted with raising much needed funds for various non-profit associations. She has served on non-profit boards for the past 20 years, including: VICA, Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, Sacramento RIMS and Golden Gate RIMS. Throughout her professional career Joanne has been in a business development role, holding executive level positions for major insurance industry corporations. Joanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from CSUS. While attending CSUS, she was on the Racquetball and Waterski teams. She earned gold and bronze medals in racquetball, and continues to compete in local tournaments.
Sylvia serves as the liaison between our organization, members and sponsors. Sylvia coordinates annual giving programs, including, but not limited to direct mail appeals, community fundraisers, and targeted special events. Sylvia works closely with tournament coordinators to ensure accurate donor information is captured, gifts are acknowledged in a proper and prompt manner, and to prepare financial reports.
Bobby Daniels is a Graduate of CSU Sacramento where he played football. After graduating he married his College sweetheart who also attend CSUS, and was a cheerleader. Bobby and Shari were married for 17 years when she lost a 10 year battle to brain cancer. Bobby started a Scholarship foundation at Sacramento State in honor of his late wife who was a Principal and dedicated her life to education.
Bobby joined the Sacramento Police Department in 1996 and retired in 2018. Detective Daniels served the Sacramento Police Department in the Patrol Division, as a Problem Oriented Police Officer, and in Investigations in the Neighborhood Crimes Unit, Violent Crime Reduction Unit, SACA/290 Task Force, and Felony Assaults Units. During his career, Detective Daniels received a Silver Medal of Valor and a Purple Heart Award, along with many letters of appreciation from those whom he served. Detective Daniels’ professionalism, commitment to excellence, hard work, and devotion to duty have made him a valued member of the Sacramento Law Enforcement Family.
Bobby spent his free time coaching High School and Youth sports. He has coached football, girls basketball and girls soccer. He also worked with kids and developed a youth program for underprivileged children as a Problem Oriented Police Officer. Bobby is also a survivor of a DUI hit and run that nearly took his life. He spoke at High Schools as a guest speaker for a High School DUI Program. Bobby is currently working on a memoir.

Connie has a degree is Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her business career in the insurance industry she has demonstrated her passion for people. She was an Ambassador for Linked Learning from December 2013 through March 2017, helping inner city children focus on their career paths for their future despite their many social and economical challenges. Connie has always enjoyed the outdoors, camping with her family, sports activities, including, but not limited to mountain biking, running, hiking, fishing and golfing. While living in California, Connie was a volunteer at her church. When she moved to Houston, she established her roots and began volunteering at her new church in Guest Relations. Her commitment to family and friends extends to her community by participating in many charitable events related to the diseases and maladies that her family members and friends have unfortunately been battling. She has a strong desire to help organizations with their fundraising goals to ultimately raise enough funding to help find a cure for conditions that have affected families all over the country.
Born and raised in Mission Texas to two hard working parents that showed me the importance of hard work and making a difference in my community, helped build the foundation for my servant heart and love for my community. As a retired banking executive Danny has a long history of helping individuals and organizations with financial guidance and planning. While working for Wells Fargo for over thirty years he partnered with hundreds of nonprofits ranging from educational needs to various community and social needs. Currently Danny is employed at Banc Card of America and serves on the board of the Humble ISD Education Foundation, Chairman of the Mexican Institute of Greater Houston and Foundation Chair for the Rotary Club of Lake Houston.
Jane Miners-Hart brings years of experience in developing client relationships, by facilitating events and sales for a regionally award-winning winery. Jane has worked with businesses ranging from individuals to fortune 500 companies, while educating and assisting them in executing successful events as well as independent conferences. Jane’s knowledge and outgoing personality brings a positive attitude with energy to help others achieve their event goals. Jane is inspired by her husband and two children to succeed personally and professionally while enjoying their small chicken farm.
Canyon is a fitness professional who has taught in a University setting, designed fitness facilities, owned and operated a world class gym. His clients range from professional athletes and physique competitors to individuals who want to live a healthier lifestyle by improving their overall fitness and health.
Canyon is also an experienced martial artist. He is a Charles Gracie Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Association Certified Black Belt Instructor with extensive competitive and instructional experience.
